Shotcrete / Gunite
Shotcreting is the application of air placed concrete. Osco utilizes both wet and dry mix shotcrete. The dry mix system is commonly known as "Gunite". This system transfers a dry mix of aggregate and cement through a hose where water is added at the nozzle. Shotcrete (wet system) pumps a low slump concrete through a hose where air is added at the nozzle.
Osco excels at both methods. These concretes are stronger and denser than conventional concrete. The real advantage of these systems is that forming is not usually required and the concrete reaches a high strength in a short period of time.
